Job Full Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to support welding, fabrication, and finishing operations. This position involves assembling, welding, preparing, and finishing metal components while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
The ideal candidate has welding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to support multiple areas of production, including fabrication and painting processes.
Responsibilities
Welding & Fabrication
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks according to specifications.
- Assemble and prepare metal components for production.
- Read and interpret basic drawings, work instructions, and measurements.
- Cut, fit, and modify materials as needed.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely.
Finishing & Painting
- Prepare surfaces for finishing applications.
- Assist with painting, coating, and finishing processes.
- Apply finishes while following quality and safety guidelines.
- Inspect completed finishes for accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain proper handling of materials and equipment.
Production & Safety
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Identify and communicate quality or production concerns.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
- Familiarity with welding processes, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Comfortable performing hands-on tasks in a production environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and assist in multiple areas of production.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with welding and metal fabrication.
- Experience with industrial painting, coatings, or surface preparation.
- Knowledge of measuring tools and fabrication techniques.
- Experience working with various metals and production equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to safely handle materials and equipment.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
Schedule
Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
