Job Title: Hardscape / Landscape Laborer

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Location: Corning, NY

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Hardscape / Landscape Laborer to assist with residential and commercial outdoor construction and landscaping projects. This hands-on role involves working with a variety of tools and equipment to support hardscape installation, grading, and general site preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, pick axes, and post hole diggers
• Operate power tools and equipment including compactors, jumping jacks, blowers, and power brooms
• Load, carry, and operate wheelbarrows safely and efficiently
• Move and distribute materials by hand when necessary
• Properly store and maintain tools and equipment at the end of each workday
• Assist with site preparation and hardscape installation tasks
• Understand and work with different aggregate materials such as crusher run gravel, screenings/AG lime, and 3/4 clear stone

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical outdoor labor in various weather conditions
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn landscaping and hardscape tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable and safety-conscious
