General Laborer
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable General Laborer to support daily manufacturing operations. This position involves hands-on production work, material handling, quality checks, and maintaining an efficient workflow.
The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to perform physical tasks while maintaining production standards.
Responsibilities
Production & Material Handling
- Perform various production tasks including stacking, organizing, and preparing materials.
- Assist with processing, packaging, and handling finished products.
- Inspect materials for quality and identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Assemble and prepare products according to specifications.
- Operate equipment and assist with machine feeding as needed.
- Maintain an acceptable pace to support team production goals.
Quality & Safety
- Perform quality checks and assist with grading or sorting materials.
- Mark, measure, or identify materials according to production requirements.
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or production problems to supervisors.
Team Support
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Adapt to changing tasks and priorities as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or labor experience preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new processes and responsibilities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift, move, and stack materials as required.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
