Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals in Ithaca is recruiting for an experienced HVAC Technician for a client in the Ithaca area. The successful candidate will provide maintenance and service to systems for multiple locations as part of a greater organization. Will conduct preventative maintenance on systems and make repairs on a day to day basis. Will also change filters, and other heating/cooling responsibilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems
- Perform seasonal tune-ups and safety inspections
- Present repair options and maintenance plans to customers
- Accurately document all work performed, including materials used and time on site
- Submit job paperwork and receipts promptly
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized company vehicle
- Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly
- Represent the company professionally and uphold all service standards
- Perform other duties as needed to support the team
Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of HVAC service experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and continue training
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
