Interim Accounts Payable Lead January 7, 2026

Pay: $30-40/hr

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local healthcare organization in their search of an experienced Interim Accounts Payable Lead

This position is ideal for an AP professional with strong leadership skills, healthcare experience, and system implementation exposure.

Serve as Interim Accounts Payable Lead, providing daily oversight and direction for:
- Two (2) full-time AP Clerks
- One (1) per diem AP resource
Oversee and execute:
- Check runs and ACH payment processing
- AP workflows, issue resolution, and escalations
Lead AP readiness and execution for the Lawson to Workday transition, including:
- Hands-on training and shadowing with the outgoing AP Lead prior to retirement
- Active participation during go-live and post–go-live stabilization
Manage invoice processing across multiple systems:
- Perceptive for non-PO invoices and approval workflows
- Allscripts for PO invoices and materials management
- Coordinate with Meditech during the interim transition period
Partner with accounting to support AP accruals and month-end activities
Document AP procedures, workflows, and internal controls to support knowledge transfer
Collaborate with super users and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve system or process issues

Initial work model will be ON-SITE for training and go-live; potential transition to hybrid/remote post–go-live

Pay based on experience; $30-40/hr
