Electrical Assembly Technician
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling electrical control panels and equipment, reading technical drawings, and working with a variety of electrical components.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Identify and work with electrical components including switches, power supplies, transformers, relays, terminal blocks, and related hardware.
- Build and assemble electrical cables, wire harnesses, and control panels.
- Perform point-to-point wiring and electrical assembly according to specifications.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform soldering of wires, connectors, and electronic components with a high level of quality.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in electrical assembly, panel building, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical components and wiring practices.
- Excellent soldering skills.
- Experience building cables and wire harnesses.
- Proficiency with hand tools and measuring devices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
