Customer Service Representative – Medical Equipment
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative for a local Medical Equipment provider.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, providing outstanding customer service, and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting medical equipment and supplies
- Answer questions regarding products, insurance coverage, and order status
- Verify insurance information and process customer orders
- Prepare delivery and billing paperwork with accuracy
- Process payments and maintain detailed customer records
- Coordinate with billing, delivery, and service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Maintain an organized showroom and assist with inventory as needed
- Protect confidential patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service experience required; DME, healthcare, or insurance verification experience preferred
- Strong computer, data entry, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask while providing compassionate, professional customer service
- Experience with Brightree or other DME software is a plus
