Sanitation Associate
Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable Sanitation Associates to join a growing food manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary production environment while supporting food safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and work areas
- Wash and sanitize cold rooms and other food production areas
- Safely use approved cleaning chemicals and follow all sanitation procedures
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all workplace safety protocols
- Prepare equipment and production areas for the next shift
- Inspect and maintain sanitation tools and equipment
- Report any food safety, quality, or equipment concerns to management
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Qualifications:
- Previous sanitation or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated or cold environment
- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow safety procedures
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical work throughout the shift
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
