Packaging Machine Operator
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable Packaging Machine Operator to join a fast-paced food production team. This role is responsible for operating automated packaging equipment while ensuring products meet quality, safety, and production standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor automated packaging equipment
- Perform machine changeovers based on the production schedule
- Monitor packaging quality, product weights, and labeling accuracy
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and assist maintenance with repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Follow all food safety, HACCP, SQF, and quality standards
- Keep work areas clean and organized while adhering to safety procedures
- Work efficiently to meet daily production and performance goals
Qualifications:
- Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical work
- Ability to follow written procedures and safety guidelines
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
