Welder/Fabricator | Milford, OH
1st Shift | $19-21+/hr, Based on Experience
Express Employment Professionals Cincinnati East (Skilled Trades Team) is now hiring a Welder/Fabricator for a manufacturing firm in Milford, OH. The Welder/Fabricators perform perform welding and weld finishing operations (MIG, TIG, etc.) on metal items, parts and components to fabricate items used in the manufacturing process.
Other Core Functions:
• Meeting customer specifications, drawings, or other forms of instruction
• Clean weld joint or work piece in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions
• Weld together metal components as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, or manufacturing operations sheet (MOS)
• Use electric arc-welding equipment, guides electrode along weld joint, manually or semi-automatically
• Position or clamp work pieces together, or assemble in a jig or fixture
• Examine weld for bead size and other specifications
• Must be willing to float and work in other areas as business needs warrant
Key Experience:
• 2+ years of experience MIG Welding on stainless steel - responsibilities include grinding parts.
• Experience using Quality Control equipment (Tape Measure, Mics, Calipers, Gauges)
• Experience reading blueprints and matching parts to blueprint specifications
• Experience fitting up and tacking welds, ability to weld various thicknesses of steel
