Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on trucks and company vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical problems and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Perform oil changes, brake repairs, fluid checks, filter replacements, and preventative maintenance
• Inspect trucks and vehicles to identify needed repairs and safety concerns
• Repair and replace mechanical components as needed
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and completed repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance guidelines
• Assist with additional mechanical, equipment maintenance, and shop duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Previous automotive, truck, diesel, equipment maintenance, or mechanical repair experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and basic mechanical repairs
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and complete repairs efficiently
• Basic understanding of vehicle electrical, brake, and mechanical systems preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team

Pay

$17–$20/hr (Based on Experience, Benefit Package Available)
