Business Development Manager / Professional Staffing
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Compensation: Based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to understand their staffing needs and offer tailored recruitment solutions.
- Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and consultations to showcase staffing services and capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including recruiters and account managers, to ensure successful candidate placements and client satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to meet both their needs and company revenue goals.
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs, tracking performance and reporting progress regularly.
- Maintain an active pipeline of sales leads and opportunities, using CRM tools to manage and track activities.
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and staffing best practices to provide clients with informed, strategic recommendations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the staffing or recruitment industry.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting and negotiating effectively.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet sales goals.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred but not required).
