NDT Quality Inspector
Location: Springdale, OH
Compensation: Based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) and visual inspections to ensure compliance with specifications at all stages of production.
- Review drawings, instructions, and sample parts to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Complete and maintain required documentation, including test reports, sign-offs, and data entry.
- Retrieve and interpret specifications, procedures, and drawings from manufacturing software.
- Ensure adherence to NADCAP, FAA, DCMA, customer, and international quality standards.
- Provide technical oversight, approve inspection methods and procedures, and train Level I inspectors.
Qualifications:
- Certified NDT Level II (NAS 410) or ability to achieve certification within a reasonable timeframe.
- High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related quality experience preferred.
- Strong math skills and ability to work with various units of measure.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Pass vision exam (near vision and color).
- Extensive NDT experience with the ability to approve techniques and provide technical guidance.
