Electrical Estimator

Location: Harrison, OH

Compensation: $25-35 an hour

Responsibilities:

Review bid documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope.
Perform basic electrical takeoffs (lighting, branch circuits, devices, feeders, small systems) using onscreen takeoff software.
Input takeoff data into estimating software and maintain organized records.
Gather vendor and subcontractor quotes for materials and specialty systems.
Assist with applying labor units, project-specific adjustments, and proposal documentation.
Participate in bid reviews and team meetings.
Learn and apply company estimating standards, procedures, and safety practices.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree or trade school training in Electrical Construction, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred
Previous field experience as an apprentice, foreman, or technician is a plus
Basic understanding of electrical systems and construction methods.
Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Previous experience with Estimating Software is a plus
Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
