Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Troy, OH
Pay: $30/hr
Shift: 1st
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Inspect, repair, replace, and adjust equipment components to ensure proper operation.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete maintenance tasks.
Perform basic machining, plumbing, carpentry, and general facility maintenance as needed.
Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), proper PPE usage, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or GED required; completion of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including PLC and HVAC experience.
Basic understanding of VFDs, motor starters, overload protection, PLCs, and industrial electrical circuits.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to safely work at heights, around hazardous chemicals, and extended hours as needed while following all safety guidelines.
