General Laborer – Manufacturing (2nd Shift)
Location: Crestline, OH Pay: Competitive pay based on experience Schedule: Full-time | 2nd Shift Hiring Immediately!
Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals in Delaware, OH is hiring a General Laborer to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone dependable, safety-conscious, and ready to learn. You’ll assist with material handling, machine operation, quality checks, and general production duties.
Responsibilities
· Load and unload materials, parts, and products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks
· Operate hand-fed press machines and inspect parts for accuracy
· Sort and identify parts with defects or flaws
· Remove (deburr) excess metal from machined parts
· Operate a spot welder and test welded parts (as assigned)
· Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) safely per OSHA standards
· Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
· Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED required
· 1–3 months of related experience and/or training preferred
· Ability to lift 40–50 lbs. frequently
· Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
· Basic math, reading, and communication skills
· Forklift certification a plus (training available)
· Must follow all safety rules and policies
