Quality Engineer and Inspector Needed!!!!

Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality control procedures and inspection protocols for incoming, in-process, and finished goods. Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for internal, supplier, and field-reported issues; verify effectiveness of corrective actions. Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS); support audits, compliance reviews, and documentation for industry and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, API, ASME). Monitor quality metrics (scrap, rework, defects, supplier quality) and report trends to drive data-informed decision-making. Review and approve engineering changes from a quality and compliance perspective; ensure proper configuration control and documentation. Conduct supplier quality assessments, support vendor qualification, and collaborate with Supply Chain on incoming quality and nonconformance management. Train team members on quality standards, procedures, GD&T, inspection methods, and best practices; promote a culture of quality and accountability across the organization. Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products by using precision tools and visual checks to support incoming, in-process, and final product quality assessments. Verify conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements; document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. Identify, document, and disposition non-conformances; assist in root cause investigations and support containment and corrective actions. Ensure proper calibration, care, and use of inspection equipment, coordinate calibration schedules, and records. Work closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Field Service teams to resolve quality issues and improve product consistency and reliability. Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma) to reduce variation, improve process capability, and enhance customer satisfaction. Communicate clearly and professionally across functions; provide timely updates on quality status, risks, and mitigations.
