Apartment Maintenance Technician (Immediate Hire)
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team immediately. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and functionality of apartment units and property grounds. The ideal candidate will be dependable, responsive, and able to handle a wide range of maintenance requests.
Compensation
- Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
- Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Prepare vacant units for new tenants (turns)
- Conduct routine inspections of property, buildings, and equipment
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
On-Call Requirements
- Must be available 24/7 on-call to respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed
Requirements
- Must provide own tools necessary to perform job duties
- Prior maintenance experience preferred (apartment or related field a plus)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
