We're hiring a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for a hardwood lumber and plywood warehouse. This is a hands-on warehouse position involving forklift operation, order picking, loading/unloading trucks, and assisting customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move hardwood plywood and palletized materials
- Load and unload customer and delivery trucks
- Pull and prepare customer orders
- Band and organize plywood sheets for shipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
- Provide excellent customer service in a customer-facing environment
Requirements
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required (certification not required)
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to read a tape measure
- Strong attention to detail when handling high-value materials
- Lumber yard or wood product experience is a plus
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
