Overnight Press Operator Helper
Monday to Thursday, 5:00pm to 5:00am + Friday OT as needed
$17.00 to $18.00/HR DOE
Must be willing to train on days for up to two weeks.
Duties:
- The Night Shift Press Operator will be responsible for assisting the Lead Operator with running a printing press machine
- Stacking sheets of label stock, material handling, pre-press setup, catching sheets as they come off the conveyor line, etc…
- Move finished pallets with pallet jack and standup forklift
- Mount rolls of material onto the machine using a cart and/or lift, as well as loading the rubber plates onto the press
- Assist the Lead operator by pulling ink, clean up each run, wash down the trays and line, ensure the area is reset and ready for the next run
Qualifications:
- Willing to train in most areas including on the forklift and on the press machine
- Must be detailed, quick paced, follow direction well, take pride in the qualify of work being produced, watch for errors, work well with the Team Lead, and be willing to support your team by helping in all areas as needed.
- Experience on a press machine, production line, or printing equipment is helpful but not required
