Job Full Description
Express Employment Professional is searching for a Return-To-Work Assistant in Ashland. This is for a local worker's compensation employer who has been in business since 1985. This is an entry level position with the opportunity for growth. The successful candidate will assist in a variety of tasks that aid in return-to-work efforts, including communicating with medical and insurance professionals, utilizing claims tracking software, data entry, and researching workers’ compensation cases. This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm. Starting wage is $22.56.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree with two years of office experience.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and a typing speed of 40+ wpm.
- Data-entry experience and attention to detail.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Excellent business writing skills; composition, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Ability to take direction, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Self-directed and organized.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination.
- Affection for dogs and occasional foster kittens.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience using databases for data entry, searches, and reporting.
- Experience in a medical office, medical billing, or insurance field.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word formatting and Excel formulas.
Benefits, Hours & Compensation
- Starting wage of $22.56.
