This position plays a vital role in supporting sales efforts, delivering technical expertise, and helping expand a diverse irrigation product line. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide product selection support and technical guidance to customers via email, phone, and in-person.
- Serve as a resource for internal customer service staff on irrigation-related inquiries.
- Troubleshoot product-related issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Work closely with purchasing to identify new product opportunities and evaluate customer feedback.
- Recommend and assess new irrigation products to enhance the company’s offerings.
- Stay up to date on the latest irrigation technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
- Assist with internal training efforts and product education when needed.
- Maintain accurate product documentation, specifications, and resources.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with irrigation products, installation, technical support, or sales.
- Solid understanding of irrigation systems, components, and applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to confidently interact with customers and resolve technical questions.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.
- Proficient with computer systems such as email, CRM, and inventory management software.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward learning and improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in irrigation product sales or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with agricultural, residential, and commercial irrigation solutions.
- Understanding of product sourcing and vendor relations.
