Job Full Description
Position Summary:
Our client, a leader in the aviation industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Aircraft Records Specialist to support their Records Department. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate collection, verification, and storage of maintenance records and aircraft documentation in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards. You'll be working closely with mechanics, inventory control, and shop teams to maintain precise tracking of aircraft data, part usage, and maintenance schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately gather, record, and file daily documentation from Field Operations, Hangar, Overhaul Shops, and Inventory Control related to all time-tracked parts.
- Monitor and log aircraft activity including in-service hours, locations, maintenance performed, and component time-life tracking.
- Contact mechanics to retrieve Aircraft Maintenance Logs (AMLs) and ensure all supporting FAA and company documentation is submitted and complete.
- Review and verify logbook entries for compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures; request and track corrections as needed.
- Participate in documentation processes for aircraft manufacturing and international exports, including communication with overseas stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless document flow and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling technical records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
