The Staff Accountant supports the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, reconciliations, and general accounting needs. This role is designed for early-career accountants with 1–2 years of experience who are eager to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting. Responsibilities include preparing account reconciliations, assisting with schedules, supporting the month-end close, and ensuring financial data accuracy across domestic and international operations. The salary range is $55K-$70K!

Prepare and document journal entries under supervision.

Perform account reconciliations (e.g., cash, prepaid, fixed assets, accruals, credit cards) in a timely manner.

Assist in preparing monthly schedules to support the close process.

Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.

Help compile data for budget vs. actual reviews and variance analysis.

Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed (invoice coding, vendor payments, customer billing).

Contribute to process improvements such as reporting templates, data consistency, and workflow efficiency.

Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP.

Perform other related accounting duties as assigned.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
