Job Full Description
The Junior IT Systems Architect is a technical role focused on automation and integration to solve complex business challenges. This position is responsible for designing and implementing automated workflows across on-premise and cloud systems, developing internal tools, and acting as a technical liaison to streamline efficiency globally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automated workflows to connect and streamline interactions between disparate on-premise and cloud-based systems.
- Take ownership of internal tool development from conception and proof-of-concept through troubleshooting, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Create clear, comprehensive, and maintainable technical documentation for all automations, integrations, and tools developed.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders across various departments (Engineering, Production, Order Management, Finance) at all levels to understand processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Provide support for implemented automations and tools, diagnosing and resolving issues to ensure system stability and performance.
- Work closely with the Information Services team and collaborate regularly with all departments globally, acting as a technical liaison.
- Focus particular attention on satellite office collaboration and onboarding as part of the international IT support roadmap.
- Interact extensively with international teams to support their onboarding into the global network and analyze their processes for potential local use.
- Be heavily involved in ongoing IT projects, taking responsibility for large portions of testing and implementation once proof-of-concepts are established.

Required Skills/Abilities

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong, hands-on experience with automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps (or equivalents), especially with SharePoint.
- Proven ability to see a technical project through its entire lifecycle—from conception to deployment and support.
- Demonstrated ability to document and deploy effective end-user training is critical.
Education and Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, computer science, or related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in an IT role with a focus on process improvement or automation.
