Poultry Production Worker – $18.00/hr
Location: Oregon City
A local Oregon City livestock processing plant is looking for dependable team members who can keep up in a fast-paced environment. If you’re detail-oriented, physically fit, and comfortable working around live animals, this role offers steady work and a hands-on environment.
Job Description:
As a Poultry Production Worker, you’ll be responsible for traying eggs, processing chicks, cleaning the factory, and operating tray washing equipment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain workflow in a fast-moving livestock processing setting.
Responsibilities for the job include:

Tray eggs for Monday night’s egg set and Thursday after processing (approx. 3 hours each).

Clean the factory as needed to maintain sanitary conditions.

Process chicks by placing trays on the separator or operating the tray washer.

Remove trays from the washer, stack on dollies, and line them up in the tray washroom.

Maintain a consistent and fast-paced workflow during production.

Assist in maintaining and operating a livestock processing plant during peak production.
Experience Required:
Skills Needed:

Strong attention to detail for accurate traying and processing.

Ability to work safely and effectively around live animals.

Comfortable handling small animals and removing deceased chicks when necessary.

Physical strength to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment.

Good overall health and fitness to meet job demands.
Work Schedule:

Monday: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Tuesday: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Friday: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
