CNC Machine Operator – Structural Steel
Clackamas, OR | Full-Time | $23–$32/hr DOE
About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to run Angle Master, Plate Burner, and Beamline systems in a high-paced structural steel production environment. This is a hands-on position where precision, safety, and teamwork matter.
You’ll Do:

Set up, operate, and calibrate CNC machinery for cutting, drilling, punching, and marking

Handle and position raw steel materials using cranes and forklifts

Inspect parts with precision tools to ensure specifications are met

Maintain machines, follow OSHA safety protocols, and troubleshoot mechanical issues

Collaborate with foremen, programmers, and the production team to meet daily targets
You Bring:

2–3+ years CNC operation experience (structural steel preferred)

Ability to read technical drawings & use calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Knowledge of steel grades, tolerances, and machining parameters

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
-
Forklift certification and overhead crane experience a plus
