A local manufacturing company is seeking dependable Production Technicians to join its production team. This position involves operating and monitoring production equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
Job Description
The Production Technician is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment throughout the manufacturing process. This position requires attention to detail, basic troubleshooting abilities, accurate production documentation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities

Operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently

Observe machine operations to ensure product quality and conformity

Regulate machine flow, speed, and temperature as needed

Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur

Troubleshoot and report deviations from standard parameters

Work with the team to identify and resolve production issues

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Follow sanitation and allergen handling procedures

Complete required production paperwork accurately

Monitor equipment and production processes for potential issues

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain smooth production
Experience & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Manufacturing experience preferred
-
Food and beverage manufacturing experience is a plus

Previous production paperwork experience preferred

Basic math and computer skills

Basic written communication skills

Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities

Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of sanitation, GMP, and allergen handling processes preferred
Work Schedule
2-2-3 Rotation:
Every other weekend off
Pay Rate
$21.00/hour
