About the Role:
We’re seeking a Manual Mill Operator to machine custom metal parts using mills, lathes, and drill presses. This is a standing position requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specifications precisely.
Job Duties

Operate manual mills, lathes, drill presses, and other shop equipment

Mill units to custom sizes based on specifications

Measure and select appropriate bits and tooling for each job

Read and interpret printouts and part drawings

Use micrometers, calipers, protractors, and height gauges to verify part accuracy

Follow safe operating procedures for all equipment and tasks

Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements

Minimum 6 months of machining or related shop experience preferred

Ability to use hand tools and operate presses and lathes

Strong attention to detail

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
