Job Full Description
We are seeking a Service Technician to support recycling operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of recycling equipment, including shredders, balers, conveyors, and sorting machines.
Pay & Schedule:
- Pay: $21.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Assist with equipment installations and system upgrades
- Troubleshoot technical problems to minimize downtime
- Utilize tools such as hydraulic presses, welding equipment, and forklifts
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in equipment maintenance (recycling/manufacturing preferred)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and environmental regulations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Travel required to Salem, OR, and Vancouver, WA
