What You’ll Do
As an Employment Specialist, you’ll play a key role in connecting job seekers with the right opportunities while supporting our client companies with their hiring needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interview and evaluate job seekers to match them with the right positions
- Answer incoming calls from clients and associates with professionalism and urgency
- Proactively recruit candidates through outbound calls and outreach efforts
- Build relationships with local businesses through client calls and occasional site visits
- Identify new job opportunities by connecting with prospective clients
- Conduct reference checks and verify candidate qualifications
- Assist in resolving workplace concerns and ensuring positive experiences for both clients and associates
- Visit client sites (occasionally) for job evaluations, safety walkthroughs, and relationship building
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is driven, organized, and genuinely enjoys working with people.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast paced environment
- Confident phone presence and professional demeanor
- Attention to detail and the ability to accurately document information
- Comfortable typing while conducting interviews (strong typing skills are a plus)
- Problem solving mindset with conflict resolution abilities
- Previous staffing, recruiting, or payroll experience is a bonus, but not required
Work Environment & Schedule
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Dress Code: Business Casual
