Job Full Description
We are looking for an experienced Escrow Officer to join our team. As an Escrow Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating the closing process for real estate transactions by ensuring all documents and financials are in order, and by acting as a neutral third party between buyers, sellers, and lenders. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of escrow and title processes. Duties:

Manage the entire escrow process from the opening of the file through to closing and disbursement of funds

Review and prepare documents for real estate transactions, including title commitments, closing statements, and escrow instructions

Act as a neutral intermediary between buyers, sellers, and lenders to ensure the smooth execution of the transaction

Coordinate with title companies, lenders, agents, and attorneys to gather required documents and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Handle deposit funds, release of funds, and coordinate disbursements after the closing process

Ensure all required signatures, fees, and legal documents are properly collected and executed

Review and reconcile financial statements and final closing documents

Communicate regularly with clients, real estate agents, and lenders to keep all parties updated on transaction progress

Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the closing process and work to ensure a smooth transaction

Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry professionals
Preferred Skills:
-
Previous experience as an Escrow Officer or in a related role within real estate or title services

Strong knowledge of escrow processes, title regulations, and real estate transactions

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and work under pressure

Proficiency in escrow software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing real estate transactions

Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently

Strong ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)

Valid Escrow Officer license or certification (if applicable in your state)
