Job Full Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Insurance Claims Adjuster to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling insurance claims. You will assess damages, review policy details, and determine claim amounts in accordance with the terms of the insurance policy. If you have strong analytical skills, an understanding of insurance policies, and the ability to provide excellent customer service, we would love to have you join our team! The Areas we are hiring for currently are Automotive, Homeowners, and Health.
Duties:

Investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner

Review and analyze insurance policies to determine coverage and identify the appropriate payout amounts

Inspect damaged property, vehicles, or other assets to assess the extent of the damage or loss

Interview claimants, witnesses, and experts to gather information and documentation needed to assess claims

Document and report findings, including claim details and the outcome of investigations
-
Work closely with clients, agents, and other stakeholders to explain policy coverage and answer questions regarding the claims process
-
Negotiate settlements with policyholders, claimants, and service providers, ensuring fair and accurate compensation

Ensure claims are processed and settled in compliance with state laws, regulations, and company guidelines
-
Maintain accurate records of all claims activity and ensure proper documentation is in place
-
Follow up with claimants to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction

Handle any disputes or concerns that may arise throughout the claims process
Preferred Skills:
-
Previous experience as an insurance claims adjuster or in a related role within the insurance industry
-
Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes
-
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
-
Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex information
-
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of claims effectively

Proficiency in insurance claims software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
-
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks

Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to insurance claims
-
Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information

Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
-
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field inspections
-
Relevant certifications (e.g., AIC - Associate in Claims) are a plus
-
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Insurance, Business, or a related field is preferred
