Job Full Description

Our client is a world leader in the production of MSA salts and Stannous Sulfate. They custom manufacture and blend a variety of products. They manufacture and stock a full range of MSA salts including tin, lead, copper, silver, bismuth, iron and potassium.

Chemical Process Operator
Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5pm, train for 3 months, then move to:
2nd shift, 1pm-11:30pm (Monday - Thursday, 4-10 hour days), $18/hour
Job Purpose:
Produces chemical substances by setting-up, operating, and controlling production processes.
Duties:
* Prepares production processes by following work instructions; setting systems and controls.
* Produces substances by initiating, monitoring, and controlling process; completing analyses.
* Maintains quality standards by collecting and testing samples; completing quality assurance tests; adjusting process controls.
* Maintains processing system by investigating warnings and malfunctions; obtaining required maintenance services; cleaning-up after processing; completing tank maintenance; monitoring tank truck loading and unloading.
* Prepares product for shipping, including packaging and labeling, lifting up to 55lbs.
* Improves processing system by identifying problems; evaluating and recommending new techniques.
* Documents processing by completing logs.
* Maintains processing environment by following safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations; responding to crises.
