Job Full Description
Our client specializes in the wholesale distribution and processing of Structural, Carbon, Alloy, Abrasion Resistant, Marine & Offshore, Pressure Vessel Quality (PVQ) and Armor grades of steel plates.
Address: 191 S Keim St, Pottstown Material Handler:
1st shift - 7am-3:30pm (M - F) - $20/hour
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of trucks in warehouse using overhead crane
- Effectively use all tools associated with performing duties including reading tape measures, calipers, etc.
- Operate overhead and wall cranes utilizing remote controls in a safe and efficient manner.
- To read and understand all paperwork including Mill Bills of Lading and companies work orders
- Load and unload incoming trucks using chains, plate hooks and magnets
- Inspect and color code all incoming loads for inventory accuracy
- Pick & package orders as necessary
- Operation of all equipment needed n such as overhead and wall cranes, hand torches, electro magnets
