Hours:
Night shift (Monday thru Thursday 630PM – 430AM)
Weekend shift (Monday, Friday and Saturday 5AM – 5PM)
DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team. This position involves operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials while also performing manual labor that includes lifting and handling tires weighing up to 65 lbs throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
· Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stage materials.
· Handle, lift, and stack tires weighing up to 65 lbs repeatedly during the shift.
· Inspect forklifts daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
· Follow all warehouse safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
· Maintain accurate records of materials moved and inventory counts.
· Assist with general warehouse duties, including organizing work areas and supporting team needs.
Requirements:
· Previous experience operating stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts.
· Ability to lift and move up to 65 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.
· Strong attention to safety and detail.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
· Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
· Great longevity in work history
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Process data entry of customer orders, job set up and production information, costing, and recordkeeping to achieve real-time reporting ensuring accuracy of data for critical decisions by management.
2. Assist Accounting with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions and delegated tasks.
3. Handle all incoming phone calls in conjunction with office personnel in a professional manner ensuring strong customer and vendor support in delegating messages and responses.
4. Greet incoming visitors to include customers, vendors, and applicants with a professional demeanor and friendly attitude.
5. Work with managerial staff in any projects that are delegated
