Salary Range: $20.00 to $30.00
Job Summary:
Express Employment is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Auto Mechanic to join our automotive service team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with foundational automotive knowledge and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field. The Junior Auto Mechanic will assist with inspections, basic repairs, and routine maintenance under the guidance of senior technicians and shop leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.

Assist with diagnostic procedures and minor repairs under supervision.

Support senior technicians with more complex repairs and diagnostic tasks.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Ensure tools and equipment are used properly and safely.

Keep work area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards.

Communicate effectively with team members and service advisors.

Participate in ongoing training and certification programs.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive repair preferred.

0–2 years of experience in an automotive repair environment (internships or apprenticeships welcomed).

Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and common repair procedures.

Willingness to learn and grow within the trade.

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and good communication skills.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
