Assembler II
Schedule: 1st Shift
Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Days: Monday – Thursday (Friday as needed)
Position Summary
The Assembler II is responsible for assembling a variety of subassemblies and finished products for general-purpose machinery. This role includes performing functional testing, quality inspections, and ensuring products meet specifications and production deadlines. The position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and plays a key role in maintaining production efficiency and quality standards. Must have a Clean Background.
Essential Responsibilities
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, feeler gauges, arbor presses, and hand trucks.
- Verify dimensions, alignment, and functionality of assembled parts.
- Perform mechanical adjustments and alignments to ensure proper fit and operation.
- Conduct operational testing according to product checklists.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Install electrical components, including switches, sensors, connectors, and wiring harnesses.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Identify and correct assembly defects or discrepancies.
- Document assembly processes, test results, and quality issues.
- Maintain accurate daily production records.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including adherence to 6S practices.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Electrical and mechanical assembly experience required.
- Machine-building experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

PPE Requirements
- Contractors must provide and wear their own steel-toed boots.
