Warehouse Helper
Position Overview
We are a retail and wholesale distributor of ceramic tile and stone products with over 72 years of experience. Our showroom and warehouse are located in central Cranston, Rhode Island.
We are seeking a full-time Warehouse Helper to join our team. This is a fast-paced and safety-focused work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, able to work efficiently, and comfortable performing physical tasks.
The position involves reviewing customer orders, accurately pulling and preparing products for delivery or customer pickup, receiving incoming materials, maintaining warehouse inventory, and loading materials onto trucks and customer vehicles.
Training and certification for operating a stock picker will be provided. Previous stock picker experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Accurately pull and assemble customer orders.

Review orders and identify products for delivery or customer pickup.

Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.

Receive and unload incoming materials.

Move, store, and replenish warehouse materials.

Load materials onto company trucks and customer vehicles.

Safely operate warehouse equipment after completing required training.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.

Provide excellent customer service when assisting customers with pickups and orders.

Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Dependable, responsible, and willing to work as part of a team.

Ability to manually move and lift heavy products

Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Stock picker experience is a plus, but not required; training will be provided.

Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check.

Ability to read and write in English.

Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of products
