Weekend Utility / Dishwasher

Location: Conway - CCU
Schedule: Weekends (Saturday and Sunday), with potential for additional shifts
Pay Rate: 16.00

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Weekend Utility/Dishwashers to support dining services at a local college campus. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas while ensuring dishes, cookware, and food service equipment are cleaned and available for daily operations.

The ideal candidate is reliable, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, dish room, and storage areas.
• Remove trash and recycling and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors, walls, and work surfaces.
• Assist with basic utility and kitchen support tasks as assigned.
• Restock cleaning supplies and kitchen items as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Support kitchen staff during high-volume meal periods.
• Perform opening, closing, and end-of-shift cleaning duties.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, utility, janitorial, or food service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work weekends and maintain a consistent attendance record.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow directions and safety procedures.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to work in a warm, wet, and fast-paced kitchen environment.
