Job Full Description
We’re hiring Emergency Vehicle Installers for a local client. If you’ve got basic mechanical or electrical experience (especially 12V systems), we want to talk to you!
Essential Duties
- Install, repair, and remove emergency equipment (lightbars, sirens, radios, cages, push bumpers, consoles, etc.)
- Run wiring and connect 12V power systems inside vehicles
- Perform retrofits, upgrades, and general outfitting
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete basic paperwork (service orders, timecards, etc.)
- Occasionally travel locally for installs or equipment pickups
What We're Looking For
- Basic mechanical skills and electrical knowledge (especially 12V wiring)
- Comfortable using hand tools and working in/on vehicles
- Able to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Good communication and teamwork
- Valid DL
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with emergency vehicle install
- Knowledge of in-car camera systems or radio wiring
- Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certification
