Job Full Description
Express Employment is seeking several experienced Structural Ironworker to join a local team in a commercial construction environment. This position involves the installation and assembly of structural steel and requires someone with hands-on construction experience and a strong commitment to jobsite safety.
Job Responsibilities
- Install and assemble structural steel components in a commercial construction environment
- Install steel beams, columns, and metal decking
- Safely operate aerial lifts, including boom lifts and scissor lifts
- Follow jobsite safety procedures and OSHA requirements
- Work as part of a construction crew to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Perform physically demanding work in various construction-site conditions
Requirements
- Previous experience working as an Ironworker, preferably in structural steel
- Previous commercial construction experience
- Experience installing steel beams, columns, metal decking, or similar structural components
- Manlift/Aerial Lift Certification or ability to obtain certification as required
- OSHA 10 certification
- Must have steel-toe boot and hard hat with chin strap
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team
Pay & Schedule
- $22.00+ per hour
- 1st Shift
