Machine Mechanics Needed!
A company in North Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Machine Mechanic to join their dynamic team.
Machine Mechanic Schedule:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday - Saturday)
Machine Mechanic Pay: 25/hour
Machine Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair machines, engines, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, and pneumatic systems
- Perform forklift operation, basic repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Follow GMP, safety, and company procedures in manufacturing environments
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks
- Work in varied environments, including hot ovens, confined spaces, and uncontrolled temperatures
Machine Mechanic Requirements:
- 4+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing
- Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving and repair skills
- Basic math, computer, and writing skills; ability to read blueprints
- Forklift operation (certification preferred)
- Must provide own basic mechanic tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb stairs/ladders, and work safely with non-slip footwear
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing tasks
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
