Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Porter/Maintenance Worker to support the cleanliness, upkeep, and general maintenance of church building(s) and surrounding grounds. This role is ideal for an entry-level, mechanically inclined individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:

Maintain the cleanliness of all interior spaces, including halls, offices, restrooms, and common areas

Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal

Assist with basic maintenance tasks (light repairs, changing bulbs, minor fixes)

Set up and break down rooms for services, events, and meetings as needed

Monitor building and grounds for maintenance or safety issues and report concerns promptly

Maintain outdoor areas, including light landscaping, debris removal, and general grounds upkeep

Ensure supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained
