Chemical Batch Operator Needed!
A manufacturing company in Fort Worth is looking to add a Chemical Batch Operator / Chemical Mixer to their team!
Shift: M-Sat 6a-6p (Overtime and weekends as needed)
Pay: $19-20/hour
Chemical Batch Operator Responsibilities:
- Mix chemical batches according to production instructions
- Monitor tanks and perform batch checks
- Unload tanker trucks and railcars into storage tanks
- Move chemicals, drums, and totes with a forklift
- Keep production lines supplied with chemicals
- Complete batch paperwork and inventory updates
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Chemical Batch Operator Requirements:
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift experience required
- Basic computer and math skills
- Good attendance and reliable work history
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable climbing ladders, working at heights, and working around chemicals
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test and pulmonary function test if required
