Job Description
Express Employment Professionals – North Fort Worth is hiring an Inventory Control & Cycle Count Specialist for an industrial supply company in Fort Worth.
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts, researching discrepancies, and keeping warehouse inventory organized. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities

Perform daily cycle counts of warehouse inventory, storage bins, and yard materials.

Investigate inventory discrepancies, shortages, and incorrect stock quantities.

Review sales orders, purchase orders, and inventory transfers to identify errors.

Record inventory counts and adjustments using ERP or warehouse management systems.

Maintain organized, properly labeled inventory locations.

Identify misplaced materials, damaged products, and stocking errors.

Work with warehouse, counter sales, and shop employees to verify inventory.

Help improve inventory accuracy and warehouse organization.
Requirements
-
1–3 years of inventory control, cycle counting, or inventory auditing experience.

Experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment.

Comfortable using inventory software, ERP/WMS systems, and handheld scanners.

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inventory discrepancies.

Basic computer, math, and measurement skills.

Ability to accurately match part numbers, quantities, and product descriptions.

Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.

Dependable attendance and strong organizational skills.

Forklift or order picker experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday.

Lift up to 50 lbs.

Climb rolling ladders to access inventory.

Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse and yard environment.
