Client of Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a
Inside Sales & Inventory Coordinator
Responsible for managing the full inside sales cycle for chemical products while controlling and auditing inventory at a remote warehouse. Supports B2B clients, ensures accurate stock levels, and coordinates fulfillment with 3PL partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Support — Respond to product inquiries and provide technical/availability information.
- Quote Preparation — Generate accurate price quotes and lead-time estimates.
- Order Processing — Enter and manage purchase orders through fulfillment.
- Client Recordkeeping — Maintain clean and accurate CRM data.
- B2B Relationship Building — Support and grow long-term customer accounts.
- Inventory Control — Monitor, audit, and reconcile stock at a remote warehouse.
- 3PL Coordination — Work with logistics partners to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Shelf-Life Monitoring — Track expiration dates and product viability.
- Safety Compliance — Follow OSHA/HAZMAT guidelines for chemical handling and documentation.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge
- Chemical safety (OSHA/HAZMAT)
- Basic understanding of warehouse inventory processes
Experience
- 2–4 years in inside sales or account management
- Experience tracking warehouse inventory
- Chemical manufacturing or distribution background preferred
Skills
- Phone & email communication
- Interpersonal skills
- Mathematical accuracy for stock counts and conversions
- Problem-solving and organizational skills
