Express Employment Professionals is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machine Operator / Machinist to join a precision-driven team in Logan, UT. This is a full-time role for someone who understands that accuracy, documentation, and consistency are not optional — they’re the job.
Position: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes)
- Load materials and ensure precise alignment to maintain tight tolerances
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, CAD models, and work orders
- Work with SolidWorks models and drawings to support machining operations
- Adjust machine settings (feeds, speeds, cutting depth) to achieve precision and repeatability
- Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and tool changes to minimize downtime
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
- Document work accurately in accordance with manufacturing and quality requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area following safety and quality protocols
Requirements and Experience:
- Passion for CNC Machining and the fabrication process
- Proven CNC machining experience in high-precision manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks (reading models, understanding design intent)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tolerances
- Experience working with tight tolerances and critical-to-quality features
- Proficient with measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Comfortable using power and hand tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Able to pass a drug test and background check
