Express is seeking a Maintenance Tech (Graveyard) to work for Vitamin manufacture located in the BDO.
DESCRIPTION:
The Maintenance Tech is responsible for troubleshooting equipment malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner to minimize production down time, as well as perform other routine maintenance tasks as required to support production.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Utilize working knowledge of all packaging equipment to make repairs in a timely manner necessary to support production with the assistance of supervision
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner to minimize production down time.
- Take apart and clean equipment components such as powder filling augers, vibratory bowls, hoppers, screw feeders and other packaging equipment components in an efficient and timely manner to minimize production down time
- Use maintenance equipment such as bench grinders, belt sanders and other small shop tooling necessary to complete the job at hand.
- Ability and willingness to perform any and all jobs assigned by the Supervisor.
- Availability to Production line personnel at all times
- Responsible for maintaining a well-organized, safe Maintenance shop. Ensuring milling and turning equipment are in good, safe operating condition
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the mechanical field in a mechanic role or equivalent
- Experience working with most aspects of machinery and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently so as to comprehend equipment and manuals,
- Electrical certifications, Journeyman or Master Electrician
Work Schedule is Sunday-Thursday 10p.m.- 6:30 a.m. With the flexibility of working overtime when needed.
Pay-$25.00 an hour
