Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is hiring a plywood sander for a local company in Bellingham. Pay: Earn $19.50 per hour to start with a pay increase after the probationary period
Shift: Monday-Friday
Swing Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Position Type: Evaluation Hire
Location: Bellingham, WA
Job Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Sets up wood skins on a table in preparation for sanding.
- Adjusts sanding tool according to wood type.
- Identifies splice lines on the panel and uses a sanding hand tool to sand the seams to remove glue.
- Inspects the sanded panel to ensure that the splice line is free of debris/smooth.
- Slides finished wood panel to another table.
- Confirms the order is complete per the customer’s order ticket.
- Change the belt and empty the bag on the sanding tool, as needed.
